Book review.My first and strongest opinion is that any author who has difficulty in writing sex scenes should definitely read these books - it's pretty much ALL sex scenes. Very hot and slightly dark sex scenes but written elequently and with no hesitations. I couldn't quite get over the kidnapping and violence visited upon the couple in the first book, and then to compound my disquiet we are led to believe the perpetrator is a nice guy who is well skilled at 'helping' improve the sex lives of all who meet him. Yeah not quite swallowing that load!
The second book seemed to redeem the writer into my good books by having the main couple be funny and mutually into a bit of kink with their sex UNTIL the reader finds out that Carmen had been (yes you guessed it) kidnapped by her old boyfriend who tortured and massively mistreats her which is sadly told in great detail. It's horrendous stuff and not at all what I'm looking for in an erotic romance story. The author also dangled conflicting ideas of violence when Kurt dominates Carmen and beats her with a crop while handcuffed and tied up and then a couple of pages later says he absolutely abhors violence against women! Yes I'm aware she has a safe word but she is so psychologically dominated by him that she would never use it (says exactly that in the book).
The last book about John and Kelly starts off with some strong kinky sex in an elevator and was very enjoyable until Kelly finds something to disturb her about the relationship. This was an endearing story but once again there is a background of horrendous sexual abuse. I would definitely recommend this three book pack if you like your kink with dark tortured underpinnings. I certainly would have enjoyed them more without the horrid sexual abuse evident in all three.

OMG this book grabbed my attention from the start and didn't stop. I've never read a more powerful story as this. This story is full of intrigue, twists, humor and hot sex. The storyline and characters were so well written that I felt like I was part of the story. The author did a fantastic job.
This collection has everything to pull you deeper into each story. The only thing that would have been possibly better would be if the characters entwined. The stories didn't leave you wondering what the future held because you knew without a doubt!!!! Andre is without a doubt a man au woman would want to be submissive to...enjoy and dream ladies and gentlemen
I enjoyed these stories so much. There is a lot of questionable scenes in these books . Nether the less a person with a open mind will understand and connect with these scenes. The scenes also open your own mind to hard questions to your own self. I have greatly enjoyed these books. I can't wait to read her next set of books.
Andre Chevalier is a fascinating character and those he helps in his line of ... um... "business" are unique in their needs.
I loved the problems he solved in each of his clients. But I think Father John was my favorite. Damaged by sexual and physical abuse at a very young age, he has learned to cope as a Dom.
I recommend this series
The first book in this collection is essentially a bunch of sex scenes strung together, with a lot of repetitive views of the same scene - Andre's internal take on the scene he is planning, the actual scene, and then how Elizabeth feels about it. It got better after Mark was introduced, but that was pretty far into the story. The other two books were somewhat better, but the sex scenes were, again, too frequent, and then too repetitive from book to book, so if you read this in its entirety, it's becomes monotonous. There are better books out there that explore "BDSM as the cure for relationship" problems.
I really love raunchy stories such as these ♡! In comparison the three stories seemed to be climbing in terms of emotional situations which had me hooked, especially the last story. However, something about how catastrophic the last chapter was and how certain events just rolled off characters backs was a bit unbelievable. Although, besides that and a few grammatical and spelling mistakes I thought this bundle was amazing and I look forward to more.
For this "vanilla" reader, this collection turned out to be the best most insightful experience about the BDSM world. I have always been curious about the mindset of those who enjoy and engage in this lifestyle.
The collection gave me an interesting and thought-provoking perspective about the why and the simple satisfaction of the "because". I get it. I can understand the appeal of this lifestyle mostly because the Dom is expending most of the effort to give the submission the most pleasurable outcome. The Sub is simply receiving. Being a DOM is a hell of a lot of work! Needing to be in control is a exhausting! There will be no "Wham-Bam-See Ya Later-Ma'am with a BDSM experience--even the quickies are intense.
This collection is more than about sex. While there could have been more backstory about the H/H, their characters were developed and complexed enough to help the reader understand the reasons behind the Dom's actions and the Sub's motivations for being willing to take a chance and allow herself to be seduced into the BDSM world. Yes, of course she struggled to understand the "why". When she begins to value the outcome (emotional connection and sexual satisfaction), she embraces BDSM as a part of the man she care about and eventually love.
Eye-opening experience. I don't know if I could ever give up control of my "O"; but I can certainly appreciate the sexplay roles of the BDSM lifestyle as presented in this collection.
